Häpi end?

The end is near. The Sky Tractor has returned home with the crew (mostly) unhurt. It's time to gather up all trash that's still hanging around. Enjoy:

And finally a word of advice to all our motorist readers: please accept the pedal to the left.

Meanwhile in Denmark

Some of you may know, that in Denmark tens and units digits are reversed, like in German or Old english (ref. "Four-and-Twenty Virgins" (trad.)). Also, numerals from 40 through 90 are based on a vigidesimal system. This means that the score is used as a base unit in counting:Tres (short for tre-sinds-tyve meaning "three times twenty") means sixty, while halvtreds (short for halvtredje-sinds-tyve meaning "half third times twenty", implying two score plus half of the third score) is fifty. Easy, isn't it? To make it more clear, the numeral halvanden means one plus half of the second one nad numerals halvtredje and halvfjerde likewise. Then Fifty-two is usually rendered as tooghalvtreds anf fifty-second is of course tooghalvtredsindstyvende

Revelations

While inspecting the countryside near our measurement site we observed something that explains a lot of what has happened earlier. We saw a factory manufacturing clouds:

As you can observe also from this picture, the sky is almost clear of clouds, except for the one being produced. Also this picture of the Doom of Aachen shows no trace of clouds, and the scorchio is indescribable.

But only a few hours later the hard-working Germans have filled the sky with nice cloud cover, that covers us from the scorching Sun.

Obviously the constantly cloudy and rainy weather in Bavaria was due to overproduction by Bavarian cloud industry.

On the move again

We have now left the Überhasselhofen airfield and moved on to the different realities of the Westphalia. This has measurably brightened up the mood within our ranks:

Updates of our everyday happenings in Hangelaar will follow.
